Last night the Meet the Candidates Open House was quite good. After about a half hour of socializing, we all gathered in our living room (sorry, Warren and Gene – didn’t intend to have to make you sit on the floor!), and Gary Kespohl and Karl Skala both gave an introductory statement as to why they were running, and what their vision was for both Columbia in general and our neighborhood in particular. Then we opened the floor for questions – and the ensuing give & take lasted for more than an hour. It was an interesting and informative discussion.
