I received word yesterday that Wayne Gladney passed away on Wednesday morning, June 8. His daughter, Suzanne, told me that he died as he had wanted to, peacefully at home, with family nearby. The obituary is to be in Sunday’s paper, and services will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, June 18, at Parker Funeral Service.
He was a good, long-time neighbor and took part in neighborhood activities when he was able. Our thoughts are with his wife, Betty, and the rest of the family at this time.
