Congratulations to Gary Kespohl on his election victory for representing the Third Ward. Good luck serving in the office!
Looking ahead, on Saturday, June 5 from 9-11 a.m. Randy Kilgore and Gary Smith will be happy to host an Open House at their home for our neighborhood. Details to follow.
If anyone else would like to volunteer to hold an Open House between now and then, please drop me a note.
And as noted previously, I am looking to step down from the role as President for the neighborhood association. If you think you would be interested in serving the neighborhood in this position, but have questions about what is involved, please feel free to contact me. Elections are usually held at the annual picnic/business meeting.
Happy Spring!

Thank you, Jim, for taking the time to serve our neighborhood. You’ve done a great job. Are you SURE you want to step down?

Thanks for your kind comment, but yes, I think two years is more than enough. I have other things which need my attention, and I fully expect that with the change in make-up of the city council we’re looking at more threats to the character of our neighborhood which will need someone’s full attention and fresh energy.
